The NovaShops diet is a protein diet, in which proteins play the main role and carbohydrates are avoided. The purpose of the diet is to teach you the correct ratio of nutrients (proteins, carbohydrates and fats) for your body in the long term. You do not have to count calories during the diet. The diet consists of four to six protein products per day. In addition to these products, you may also supplement the diet with vegetables.

The NovaShops diet consists of 4 stages:

  1. Starter Phase
    75% of the entire diet with a maximum of 45 grams of carbohydrates per day.
  2. Phase Out
    20% of the whole diet with lots of vegetables, meat and fish
  3. Balance Phase
    Last 5% with dairy, vegetables, meat, and fish
  4. Healthy Living Phase
    Creating a healthy lifestyle program

With each phase, you gradually build up to a healthy lifestyle in which you are aware of what you eat without a yo-yo effect.
